Auravedic Skin Lightening Oil : Does it really work? Review

Just like the Chambor Ororsa Lipstick I reviewed before this post, Auravedic Skin Lightening Oil too was a part of the birthday haul.
A while ago I had some Abscess on my body and it has left some bad as* scars on the body. I have used tons of products but I dint really see much difference.When I came across this on Amazon I ordered it without much thought for this purpose.
I knew it was for face but you know the price, the impressive ingredients list made me give a try.
Let’s move onto the review of this.
Price: 250 INR for 100ml
Key Ingredients : Turmeric Oil, Saffron Oil, Winter Cherry Extract, Curcumin Oil, Licorice Extract, Orange Oil, Chamomile Oil, Vitamin E, Coconut Oil, Lime Oil, Alium Cepa Extract, Piper Betel Extract, Laksha Oil, Cedrus Deodara Oil, Saussurea Lappa Oil, Katuki Oil, Rasna Extract, Shatawa Oil.
My thoughts on Auravedic Skin Lightening Oil Review:
Packaging, scent, Texture: The packaging is simple, plastic bottle with the screw cap. It does not have stopper or any drip method to dispense the product out of the bottle. You pour it and the product flows out. So one gotta be careful here. The Oil is yellow in colour and has a citrusy scent to it. The texture is light weight and it does not feel that sticky.
My experience with this and how I use it:
Direction says use it in the morning and night and let it sit on the face. Now this oil though looks light, absorbs fast but it did not felt light on my oily face. Even the smallest amount gives me a sheen on the face. So what I do is, after I cleanse and tone the face in the morning, I would apply this, massage it and let it sit on the face for about 30 minutes while it gathered all the dust in the visionary area. After 30 minutes, I just wash it off using lukewarm water and follow it up with the moisturizer/the daily routine. By doing this I felt that the oil was reaching inside the skin. And I was right, within 1 week my face started showing the changes. It started becoming even toned and from 2nd week pigmentation around my mouth started fading/reducing. Plus a plump happy skin.
Night time I would apply this on any blemishes, and dark spots, around the mouth and let it sit on the face overnight. On the body the old scars became 2 shades lighter and the new ones have faded effectively. It has never broken me out; no side effects; no bump on the skin; No stain on the clothes. Nothing.
I remember giving this a break when I was testing some other products the effect remained intact. Also I have given about 3 week’s break to this before I repurchased this, to see if the pigmentation around the mouth comes back or the even tone of the face fades off!! Nothing of that sort happened. So the effects are permanent.
It works on blemishes, acne marks, pigmentation and evening the tone of the face. Its Free of Parabens, SLS, nasty Chemicals and Colours. All the good things!! A little goes a long way and light on the pockets.
Even if it takes a little time to show its effect on the scars, blemishes, dark spots, pigmentation, I would say give it a try and be patient. Because it might take a little time to show the results but the good change it does is, the permanent one.

I have used this oil and I shared the same experience as yours. Sadly I was too impatient to see effects on pigmentation. I need to be regular with the usage. It’s very light weight for my oily skin….. Nice detailed, honest review Swathi 🙂

You sure will, specially in the place you live in. I have read a lot of reviews which particularly mentioned how effectively it reduced the pigmentation around the mouth, so do try.

Wow! I had also got an Auravedic products haul last month and this is one of those I yet have to use! I just finished using their face polishes and they are fantastic, and after reading this review I am sure this will be amazing too.
