Why I don’t use Orange lipstick as corrector !!

Beauty world is fun and weird at that same time.
They use the aftershave as primer, a sponge as blender and a lipstick as a corrector for dark circles.
When a orange lipstick was used a corrector I rejoiced; I used the unwanted orange lipstick under the eyes; It worked; I danced and felt awesomesause. However, soon I read another article that made me not use the orange lipstick as a corrector anymore.
Basically the lipstick has chemicals and mainly wax which makes the lipstick adhere to lips. Which doesn’t go well with sensitive under eye skin area. Corrector have chemicals in them but lipstick does more harm. In short, chuck that idea of using orange lipstick as and get yourself a Orange corrector.
Initially in India, it was a challenge getting a Orange corrector , however now we can acquire easily.
Some of the choices of Orange corrector in India are: L. A girl Orange corrector, Kryolan , Freedom Pro

Yes I do use my unused orange lipstick as a corrector.. Not everyday and it works fine for me.. 🙂

That’s true. Lipsticks are definitely not for the sensitive under eye area.

I never used lipstick on my under eye area since I was very uncomfortable about this idea. Now this post made me more aware not to use it 🙂

I need a good budget friendly corrector for under eye as I have severe dark under eyes… I remember the review of LA girl pro corrector. Awaiting the list ..

You are so right, as it is cosmetics have way too many chemicals and to put it under your eye is kinda insane . Agree with your post and will wait for the one on available correctors in India soon 🙂

Wow.. even i have used lipstick as corrector..But never thought it this way..

I was about to try it and you saved me from doing it, Swathi! The skin under the eye area is really thin and sensitive and I agree with this post very much! However, I use some lippies on my cheeks though.

Good that you shared it becuase many people use lipsticks as correcter…I never used lipstick as correcter probably because i barely have dark circles so i never use a correcter..but when i first saw someone using lipstick as corrector, the first thought hit me was most of the lipsticks end up darkening lips if you do not pamper your lips so what would it do to undereye skin which you can scrub or put many masks on..
