I Am dusky. I love my skintone and I don’t give a d*mn about fairness or any fairness product.

But I give a lot of importance to powder because of the oily skin I possess lol

Review of WhiteTone Face Powder was a reader’s request , as well I wanted to try this. But it took me sometime to search a mini bottle. Since I have found this and used this, let’s get onto the review. WhiteTone Face Powder bottle has Pink/Cute/Girly written all over it, since it has pink floral designs on it. The powder comes in a Plastic bottle with the holes at the top to dispense the product out.

The powder has a florally scent, the typical ponds fragrance. It’s nice actually. The powder is white in shade like super duper white and it is finely milled. Since I am dusky and I took a little amount initially and tried dotting it on face and spreading it and it looked okay. Also tried it with brush, again okay. But if I apply this mindlessly then it’s a definite white caste. So Dusky girls needs to be careful while applying this. Whereas on fair skin tone it won’t give any trouble. I feel the deeper skin tone girls can skip this.

After applying this, the powder brightness up the face. Even if you have oil on the face, it mattyfies the face. About oil controlling, it controls the oil on the face for some time. This can be used to set the makeup, to mattify the face . The brightness eeffect doesnot last long, but the matte effects continues. Since it works so nicely on the oily skin, I don’t think it is for Dry skin girls. It hasnot broken me out also. 

Final words : A decent product and does what a powder does. Which is mattifying the face, controlling the oil for sometime and setting the makeup in place. Just make sure to use, little at time. Don’t expect this to to whiten you in no time. OIly skin girlies can try this. 
Love the skintone you have, work towards improving its texture and making it spotless, not towards whitewashing it.
