Maybelline Summer Essentials Kit : Review

Summers calls for Chilled drink, Sunnies, Flowy dresses and light essential makeup.
I mean like seriously who would want to paint their face with Foundation, Concealer, highlighting products, primer and the list goes on.
As we know that either they are going to melt off or feel sticky heavy on the face.
Maybelline has bought out summer essentials kit which includes the 3 essential products for the summer. I feel like someone at the MNY sat and listended to us and said
“We got you girl”.
The golden pouch that houses three products comes in pretty pretty Golden pouch ( I have been hiding it from everyone 😛 ) Good quality, golden yet not blingy and very functional and practical. The three products are Maybelline White Super Fresh Compact Powder, Maybelline Baby Lips Color Lip Balm and Maybelline The Colossal Kajal .
Maybelline White Super Fresh Compact Powder: Compact powder is God sent for oily skin, but in summers they add freshness to your face regardless of skintype. I have had my doubts about this product I mean tall claims and costs 150 bucks!!! Boy I was wrong. The shade I have is coral which is meant for medium to dark skin, though bit lighter to my Dusky tone after the dab dab on the face it does not look odd and it settles down on face very nicely . On top of that it keeps the face matte for about 4-5 hours, after that one needs a touch up. Comes in a plastic Baby pink packing, a mirror and a sponge for touch up. The powder is finely milled and gives a fresh awake look immediately. I am absolutely loving using the product these days.
Maybelline Baby Lips Color Lip Balm : Should I talk about this product? Do I have to? I mean it’s Babylips!!!. Ever since they got launched in India I have been loyal to them. Only recently I started buying some other brands but Baby lips it’s always there. Just because it is Summer don’t even think of neglecting lip balm. Lips need care, hydration,moiturization and sun protection specially in the summer. These babylips have SPF 20, have a Pinky berry tint to it, moisturizes and hydrates from within. One of the things I love about this is it will heal chapped lips in no time. I have pigmented lips and the pigmentation of the lips have reduced after continues usage of baby lips from the last 3 years. I totally worship Babylips =))
Maybelline The Colossal Kajal: Bestseller from the house of MNY . I am pretty sure most of us have tried one version or the other of this awesomesause Kajal. Comes in a standout type yellow packaging, jet black and glides smoothly on the lids. Stays longer on the waterline as well and no irritation. Since it is smudge free and long lasting one can even opt for a dramatic wing liner look on the lids.
Overall I loved Maybelline Summer Essentials Kit. One must try all these essentials from the brand.

I loved this kit, too! Yet to try the summer fresh compact. The only disappointing factor is the shade selection. The darkest shade is too light for me.
Yeah, for me its light too. But since its on the sheer side it kind of gets adjusted 🙂
