The Chambor Sheer Delight Ultra Matt Oil Free Foundation is one of 3-4 foundation I have tried till now. The wooes of a warm toned, dusky girl. If you are Dusky/Deeper skintoned girl or if you have a friend belonging to these skintones you might have heard them using cuss words on the lack of the shades available. One of the reason why I never tried many base products. Despite all that I have repurchased this and lemme tell you all why.

My experience with Chambor Sheer Delight Ultra Matt Oil Free Foundation :
Before I used this ( Way before youtube/reading blogs) I only knew liquid foundations. So cream formula meant #mindblown. The texture sits right between moisturizer type cream and the flat dried cream formula. The best way to spread this foundation is fingers. I have learnt in a very hard way that moisturizer underneath the foundation is very necessary and powder being one the top is optional.
One of the good things about the product is that how it adds life to the face. Though sheer coverage it manges to give you that semi matte velvelty finish. One of the downside of the foundation meant for oily skin is that after the application it sucks the life out of your face. Not this one, it gives me even toned face.
The shade I have is 03 Ginger. It will suit medium skintones and somehow suits me too. because it has enough yellow undertones. I say better to check in the counters as you will get to see swatch in real life and Chambor brand is very rarely is on huge discounts online.
The performance is what made me repurchase it. It manages to survive on the face for straight 8-9 hours without oxidizing;without fading; without drying my face. Does not budge for humidity which is constantly present in the city I belong to. After about 4 hours the T zone starts getting oily but that’s manageable.
The foundation comes in a Navy blue matte squeezy tube. I love this sleek travel friendly packaging. It has a screw cap and you can control the product that comes out of the nozzle because of the texture it has.
Downside: Product cannot be layered, it just becomes too obvious. No SPF. Just three shades. the product gets collected at the mouth of the nozzle and it’s hard to tell how much product is present in the tube.
But the funny part is Despite the shade looks like mismatch from the swatches, it works because of the no SPF and sheer formula. Every time I check out the price it keeps increasing. It’s like we started at 650+ INR and now we are at 850+INR . The product performance does make up for it but I wish they did that along with increasing the shade range.
If you have oily skin do check this out. Though the coverage is sheer if you dab the concealer at the problem area you should be good to go. Doesn’t oxidize and survives heat; humidity. I give thumbs up to this foundation.

I hate applying foundations n only have one or two in my stash because Mumbai heat sucks its never cold here..

The coverage is pretty sheer isn’t it. These brands should really focus on good shade selection when they are catering to Indian women.

SPF is an important thing for any foundation. With such a heat wave all the time here, I need that protection from sun.
This foundation needs something beneath it, so SPF moisturizer does the trick 🙂

Yeah it is now. The first tube costed under 650 for me, it was okay that time. Now its too much, one day I am sure it will reach 1K :/

I love the silver shadow compact from Chambor and this one seem to be a good one too, their base products are generally good as far as I know, wish they do not increase the price and will check it out for Indian summers when my skin is more on the combination oily side
I have used that and loved it. Yeah they do make good base products. The one from the Orosa range, some serum infused foundation I have heard good things about that too. Chambor is allways crazy with prices.
It is quite pricey for a sheer foundation but wear is amazing I must say. I’m from mumbai & I know the pain of humid climate…

Yeah, it is allmost like the BB cream only. It’s there online, but not as extensive as other brands.
Only place I remember getting chambor is westside but now they have stopped keeping any other brand’s makeup except their own studiowest 🙁 Any pointers where to get it?

I have seen Chambor in Lifestyle store. Yeah Chambor is there in westside in my city but in other cities I dint find it. Check NewU stores na, they have all the brands in that tiny place :/

I have tried Deborah DD Dream foundation and using it currently. Matte Creamy textures are great for summers esp for oily skin. I felt the same on shade mismatch when I saw the swatch in pic above but I guess sheer coverage as you said has not made it obvious after blending. Lovely review
