Himalaya Herbals Moisturizing Aloe Vera Face Wash : Review
Now this Himalaya Herbals Moisturizing Aloe Vera Face Wash is not new for me. Even though I have oily skin I particularly bought this during my Gangtok, Darjiling trip as the these places are Hill station. This time I added this to get free shipping . Been there Done that?? Ehhh?
Anyhooo, let’s move onto the review.
Price: 50 INR for 50ml
Product description: A soap free herbal formulation which comes enriched with natural vitamin E, that gently cleanses and moisturizes. Unlike soap your skin will not feel dry or stretched. Cucumber cools and soothes skin. Aloe vera tones and softens your skin.
My experience with Himalaya Herbals Moisturizing Aloe Vera Face Wash:
The packaging is standard Himalaya Facewash with flipcap, nothing extraordinary but practical and travel friendly. The face wash is creamy, light green in colour with the Aloevera scent . This scent reminds me of Darjiling soooo much. It’s funny how scents can jog your memory ^_^. Since this is a soap free face wash the facewash does not lather much.
After the wash you get a squeaky clean feel with hydrated supple skin. While washing the face and post wash there is minty feeling on the face, refreshing actually. It is gentle and it has never broken me out.
The cons would be: Since it is hydrating facewash meant for dry skin, sometimes when the weather is extremely humid, my oily skin felt a wee bit sticky. Also, since it does not lather much, more quantity gets used every time.
Even though my skin type is oily, in Hill station post wash skin does feel little stretchy. That’s the reason I picked it up initially and it worked wonderfully for that purpose. So though this facewash is meant for dry skin, this Facewash is going to suit Oily skin as well in winters. Dry skinned girls do give it a try, you’ll like all year around.
Have you used this? Which Facewash are you using currently?
Live life to the fullest
