Rose Aqua: Essence of the Himalayas
Hello All 🙂
Since I am a beauty blogger many of you might think..Oh she knows everything!! Her room/bathroom must be filled with oils, lotions and potions, body butters, overflowing with showergels and all the other stuff.
Reality is I am still not into mists, recently started exprimenting with facial oils, utter lazy when it comes to face masks, Making a facemask paste is nothing more than a pain for me, I still don’t go to beauty parlours, Google’s benefits of something when wants to know something. I don’t use multiple products. Partially due to OCD of opening a product after finishing one. Scared of hoarding and all that shit. The only thing I am clear about is how to swipe my card and bring home the goodies, when one bottle gets over..buauahahaha.
What my rant has to do with the review , eh nothing 😛 You see during my Shimla-kulu-Manali trip ( Post here) along with super awesome weather and the nature, I saw Gigantic Rose plants. The ones which had more Roses than leaves and thorns. The plant would be literally covered with the Roses. I tried plucking one and got stares.
Does this has to do anything with the Post/review….ehh Nothing again 😛 Just that I picked up one Rose water bottle during the trip. I paid 65INR for 100ml.
Review: It has the most convenient packaging, plastic bottle , plastic tight cap, fantastic. Spritzing way of getting the product out makes the life easy. It smells like Fresh Roses, no chemical touch to it. As I mentioned earlier, I am not really into face mists, but I tried using this as one and I liked it. It works just how the Rosewater works. Which is soothing the irritated skin, hydrating and moisturizing the skin, removes the powderiness of the powder, acts as a toner. Overall makes you feel relaxed. I have mixed this with the face pack as well. That is if I manage to find the Rosewater in time 😛
Its good, Its natural preservative free and I am an idiot coz I picked only one of it.

Bottom line: In Shimla-Kulu-Manali, there are plenty of stores selling Rose water. I won’t say buy tonnes of it but do try picking 2-3 bottle. It will be useful.

I liverose water. I will have to try and get this online. The bad thing about living in the USA is that products like these are hard to find.

Seems super cheap. And effective as well. The ones we get there are natural unlike the chemical-laden ones we find in the market. I picked up one when we went to Manali last time which was years and years ago… :p

If you find making face mask paste boring. I would I highly recommend Freeman facial clay mask. It’s affordable, easy to use and effective. You can find it on any beauty shop nearby.

I too love flower waters specially rose, jasmine, mogra etc. usually they are not free of chemicals, the reason why I prefer hydrosols which are pure and effective.

No you are not the only idiot 😛 😀 I do the same thing, buy just 1 small bottle of something awesome and then regret later on. Last year we went to Kodaikanal and they had such pure sandalwood & red sandalwood there, I ought to have bought batches of that but like and idiot I got the smallest sachets that got over in a week 😀 This looks pretty 🙂

I use rose waters a lot, this one is affordable and has a nice fuss free packaging too, will check out local rose waters whenever I travel to hill stations and other destinations here after

I also have the OCD of finishing the product before opening new one 😀 and talk about making facemasks or any kind of masks is like giving Panda a task of climbing the stairs(Refrence to Kung fu Panda) 😀 This is quite sorted for a rosewater..I love face mists and mostly use rosewater as one 🙂
